Sinister
Vesture
He is not
For the tattle tale price of a
Bigoted lot
We,
We born free in
Rights
And not granted?
Strained to new sights
Of refuge
Neath the deluge of lost
Brothers and Sisters.
He, she, the seekers,
They are stories
Of mother
Of father
Of child
Of running
Of hiding
Of protecting love...
She is the story of sexual exploitation, she is the
inhalation of sorrow in a haze of tyranny. She is an innocent woman, 28 days, 4
years in detention with the retention of anguish to languish in a makeshift
bastille.
He is persecution. He is the hardest decision ever made. He
is we didn’t want to leave. He is risking everything. He is we didn’t want to
die. He is afraid. He is made of legitimate wanting.
