Definition: Asylum
A legality
In morality
Definition: protection
Granted
To aliens
With no returns
To concerns of the
Homeland.
Alien?
And yet
We
All of us people
In the sepal
Of one conjunct
Humanity.
She is not a game in the name of political tickets
No tally board wickets
On freedom please....
The propaganda of a
Ministers
Sinister
Vesture
He is not
For the tattle tale price of a
Bigoted lot
We,
We born free in
Rights
And not granted?
Strained to new sights
Of refuge
Neath the deluge of lost
Brothers and Sisters.

He, she, the seekers,
They are stories
Of mother
Of father
Of child
Of running
Of hiding
Of protecting love... 

She is the story of sexual exploitation, she is the inhalation of sorrow in a haze of tyranny. She is an innocent woman, 28 days, 4 years in detention with the retention of anguish to languish in a makeshift bastille.
He is persecution. He is the hardest decision ever made. He is we didn’t want to leave. He is risking everything. He is we didn’t want to die. He is afraid. He is made of legitimate wanting.
And so much more...

They are our kin
They are courage and life and rife with needing love
These citizens of the world
Our people too
Respect due
